Our Information Technology department is looking for the right
candidate to join our team as Information Security Policy and
Awareness Analyst. In this role, you will create and interpret
information security policies and assist with their implementation and
enforcement. You will promote information security awareness and monitor
compliance with information security policy. You will adjust information
security policy as necessary to align with company goals or other
regulatory changes. In addition, you will be responsible for the process
governance of the Company's role-based access control methodology, and
you will track and act as the primary contact for all information
technology-related audits and risk assessments.
Being the right candidate, you will have a bachelor's degree from an
accredited four-year college and three-to-five-years work experience in
one or more of the following fields: policy creation, security awareness
and training, auditing and/or risk management. Working knowledge of
international security standards such as ISO 27001/27002, B7799 or ISO
17799. You must possess strong interpersonal skills to interface with
managers and staff at all levels within the organization. Knowledge and
understanding of current information security techniques and
technologies, as well as the methods used in performing risk analyses
and assessments, is required. Excellent project management,
organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage
multiple activities/demands simultaneously, are a must, as is the
ability to recognize and address workload issues.
Additional skills include strong oral and written communication
skills and the ability to evaluate performance and to schedule, plan and
organize staff in problem-solving activities. You must have demonstrated
experience working on projects, training, designing process solutions
and directly interacting with customers. Furthermore, you must have
demonstrated knowledge of federal and state regulations related to
information security, privacy and information sharing. Certified
Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) preferred.
